and New Opportunities<\/h2>\n\n                            <p class=\"sdasu-library-intro\">\n                                The Library of David Aghmashenebeli University of Georgia offers a diverse collection of literature covering every field represented in the University&#039;s academic programmes.                            <\/p>\n\n                            <div class=\"sdasu-library-body\">\n                                                                    <p>The Library&#039;s collection is expanded annually and currently includes approximately 20,000 textbooks. The Library also receives journals and newspapers. Public discussions and seminars on literature of interest to students and academic staff have become a tradition. In accordance with modern standards, the Library&#039;s holdings are also being supplemented with electronic editions.<\/p>\n                                                                    <p>The DAUG Library includes a reading room and an information services unit, which provides readers with prompt assistance through the Library&#039;s reference and search system. An electronic catalogue, databases and the book collection of the reference and bibliographic section are available.<\/p>\n                                                                    <p>Readers may use the electronic databases of renowned scientific publishers, library documents and online resources. Information may also be copied to digital storage media, including CDs and USB drives.<\/p>\n                                                                    <p>\u2726 Students must register to become Library members.\r\n\u2726 All Library services are free of charge.\r\n\u2726 Registration is completed once during the period of study. A student who becomes a member during a bachelor&#039;s programme remains a Library member when continuing studies at the University at master&#039;s or doctoral level.<\/p>\n                                                                    <p>The DAUG Library&#039;s printed and electronic collections include the essential core and supplementary literature required for every academic field. The collection is continuously expanded with new printed publications and electronic resources. The DAUG Library&#039;s book collection comprises 20,156,200 books.<\/p>\n                                                                    <p>The Library is connected to and cooperates with international library networks and organisations.\r\nIt is a member of the consortium participating in the Electronic Information for Libraries \u2014 EIFL project.\r\nThe DAUG Library also provides class=\"sdasu-rules-card-body\">\n                                        <p>Use of the University Library is available after registration.<\/p><p>The librarian registers applicants as readers based on the submitted documentation and completes an electronic reader form containing the applicant\u2019s name, personal identification number, address, telephone number, email, semester and school.<\/p><p>Academic, visiting and administrative staff are registered on the basis of an identity document and contact details. Readers must notify the library of any changes to their personal or contact information.<\/p>                                    <\/div>\n                                <\/section>\n                                                            <section id=\"sdasu-services\" class=\"sdasu-rules-card \">\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-head\">\n                                        <span>\ud83d\udcda<\/span>\n                                        <h2>Library Services<\/h2>\n                                    <\/div>\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-body\">\n                                        <p>Readers may use the University Library collections, reading and computer halls, group and individual study rooms, the electronic library, audio and video materials and free access to scientific databases.<\/p><p>Academic, visiting and administrative staff and students may access electronic materials through the University\u2019s electronic learning management system at emis.sdasu.edu.ge.<\/p><p>To use library resources, readers must present an identity card or a student card issued by the University.<\/p>                                    <\/div>\n                                <\/section>\n                                                            <section id=\"sdasu-search\" class=\"sdasu-rules-card \">\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-head\">\n                                        <span>\ud83d\udd0e<\/span>\n                                        <h2>Search, Order and Reservation<\/h2>\n                                    <\/div>\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-body\">\n                                        <p>Readers may search for materials in the library catalogue available on the University website or ask a librarian for assistance.<\/p><p>Materials may be ordered in person or by email. The librarian informs the reader whether the material is available, whether it may be borrowed and for how long.<\/p><p>When a specific item is unavailable, the librarian may suggest alternative resources. Materials may also be reserved in advance.<\/p>                                    <\/div>\n                                <\/section>\n                                                            <section id=\"sdasu-borrowing\" class=\"sdasu-rules-card \">\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-head\">\n                                        <span>\u21a9\ufe0f<\/span>\n                                        <h2>Borrowing and Returning<\/h2>\n                                    <\/div>\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-body\">\n                                        <p>Printed items available in only one copy are generally not issued outside the library and may be used only in the reading hall. If there is no daily demand, temporary borrowing may be permitted.<\/p><p>Periodicals, dictionaries and encyclopaedias are not issued for home use.<\/p><p>Students and academic, visiting and administrative staff may borrow books. Readers must return borrowed items on time.<\/p><p>If another reader requests a frequently used book, the borrower must return it within 48 hours of receiving written notice from the librarian. A loan may be extended only when there is no pending request.<\/p>                                    <\/div>\n                                <\/section>\n                                                            <section id=\"sdasu-limits\" class=\"sdasu-rules-card \">\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-head\">\n                                        <span>\u23f1\ufe0f<\/span>\n                                        <h2>Loan Limits and Deadlines<\/h2>\n                                    <\/div>\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-body\">\n                                        <p>A reader may borrow up to 5 books at the same time.<\/p><p>Items must be returned by the due date. Renewal is possible only when there is no request for the material.<\/p><p>If a reader cannot return an item on time for an objective reason, such as illness or being abroad, the library must be notified in advance. Otherwise, the loan period will be considered overdue.<\/p><p>Overdue returns may result in a temporary restriction on borrowing materials outside the library. Any restriction must be justified and communicated in advance.<\/p>                                    <\/div>\n                                <\/section>\n                                                            <section id=\"sdasu-loss\" class=\"sdasu-rules-card is-warning\">\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-head\">\n                                        <span>\u26a0\ufe0f<\/span>\n                                        <h2>Loss, Debt and Liability<\/h2>\n                                    <\/div>\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-body\">\n                                        <p>If an item is lost, the reader must reimburse the University for its market value or replace it with the same title or another item required by the library.<\/p><p>Before receiving a diploma, a student must submit a clearance form confirming that there is no outstanding library debt. A diploma is not issued while such debt remains.<\/p>                                    <\/div>\n                                <\/section>\n                                                            <section id=\"sdasu-notifications\" class=\"sdasu-rules-card \">\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-head\">\n                                        <span>\ud83d\udce9<\/span>\n                                        <h2>Notifications and Information<\/h2>\n                                    <\/div>\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-body\">\n                                        <p>The librarian sends notifications when a return deadline has passed, when another reader requests a frequently used item and when conduct rules have been violated.<\/p><p>A follow-up reminder may be sent one day after the deadline. Failure to receive a notification does not release the reader from their obligations.<\/p><p>Readers may request information about opening hours, availability and loan periods in person, by email, telephone or other communication channels. Computers, internet and Wi\u2011Fi are free of charge.<\/p><p>Computers must remain switched on after use. Users must handle equipment carefully and may not install or delete software files.<\/p><p>Computers may not be used for unrelated purposes such as games or entertainment websites. Readers must request assistance from a librarian.<\/p>                                    <\/div>\n                                <\/section>\n                                                            <section id=\"sdasu-conduct\" class=\"sdasu-rules-card \">\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-head\">\n                                        <span>\ud83e\udd1d<\/span>\n                                        <h2>Code of Conduct<\/h2>\n                                    <\/div>\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-body\">\n                                        <p>Readers must respect library staff and other users, protect the library\u2019s facilities and equipment and avoid causing damage.<\/p><p>Mobile phones must be switched to silent mode upon entry. Readers must maintain silence and avoid disturbing others during group work.<\/p><p>Used library resources must not be returned to shelves independently; they should be handed to a librarian or left on the table.<\/p><p>Readers should inspect items when received and report any defects immediately.<\/p><p>Food is not allowed in the library, except bottled water and other mineral drinks.<\/p>                                    <\/div>\n                                <\/section>\n                                                            <section id=\"sdasu-sanctions\" class=\"sdasu-rules-card is-warning\">\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-head\">\n                                        <span>\ud83d\udeab<\/span>\n                                        <h2>Restrictions and Sanctions<\/h2>\n                                    <\/div>\n                                    <div class=\"sdasu-rules-card-body\">\n                                        <p>Books and other resources may not be removed without the librarian\u2019s official record.<\/p><p>Insulting staff or other users may result in disciplinary action under the University\u2019s internal regulations and Code of Ethics.<\/p><p>A reader who damages resources or equipment must fully compensate for the loss.<\/p><p>A reader who disturbs silence receives a verbal warning. If the violation is repeated twice, the reader must leave the reading hall.<\/p><p>Unauthorised removal of library resources may result in disciplinary measures under University regulations.<\/p><p>Readers must familiarise themselves with and observe the library rules and compensate for any damage caused by violations.<\/p>                                    <\/div>\n
