At the Library of Davit Aghmashenebeli University of Georgia there is a wide variety of literature in every direction of the university programs, rare copies of old editions are preserved in the archive. The bookstock of the library is enriched annually and now counts up to 20000 manuals and is also supplied with magazines and newspapers. It has become a tradition of the literary to organize discussions and seminars on books students and professors are interested in. In order to meet the current requirements the library is constantly being supplemented with electronic resources (video, audio). A reading hall and information service office are functioning in the library. The Reading Hall offers fast services using the library's search system, electronic catalog and database, the booklet of reference-bibliographic section. Electronic databases of well-known publishers of scientific literature are available for readers. It also serves with Internet resources and a collection of normative acts of the Georgian legislation, the 'Code'. The reader can copy information on a magnetic carrier (CD, USB).
